Currant and Port Sauce for Pork or Game

- ½ cup currant jelly
- ½ cup port wine
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- ⅛ tsp. ground cloves
- ⅛ tsp. whole allspice
- ½ tsp. salt
- Heat the jelly and port in a saucepan. Mix the water and cornstarch together and whisk it into the jelly/port mixture. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and serve.
