Dairy-Free Slow Cooker Chai Tea
Chai is a traditional Indian drink made with black tea that has been brewed with milk, ginger, and spices.

- 8 bags black tea
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup soy milk
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 8 whole cloves
- 16 cardamom pods
- 17 black peppercorns
- 8 thin slices fresh ginger with skin
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- Place the tea bags, water, soy milk, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, peppercorns, and ginger in a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours.
- Pour the tea through a strainer and serve warm with a teaspoon of sugar in each cup.
