Dark Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 2 1⁄2 cups flour
  • 1⁄4 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. baking soda
  • 3⁄4 cup cocoa
  • 3⁄4 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a Bundt pan, and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together oil, sugar, and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and beat well.
  • Pour in batter in prepared pan, and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven. Cool on a rack.
