- 1 block (12 1⁄3 oz.) firm tofu, cut into 1⁄2-inch cubes
- 1⁄4 cup cornstarch
- 4 cups vegetable oil
- Coat tofu cubes with cornstarch.
- Add oil to a preheated wok and heat to 350°F. When oil is hot, add tofu squares and deep-fry until they turn golden. Drain on paper towels.
