Deep-Fried Tofu with Garlic and Chilies
Serve this dish with hot chili oil or another dipping sauce of your choice.

- 1 block medium tofu (12.3 oz.)
- 1⁄2 cup rice flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. red chili flakes
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1⁄2 cup peanut oil
- Drain the tofu and cut into 1-inch cubes.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the rice flour, salt, chili flakes, and minced garlic.
- Heat the oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Coat the tofu cubes in the flour mixture and immediately set them in the hot oil. Fry until golden on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
