Dumplings in Broth
Nothing will cure your ills faster than a raft of fluffy dumplings floating in pot of homemade chicken soup.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1⁄2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 large egg
- 2⁄3 cup whole milk
- 1 quart simmering chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- In a large bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix together egg and milk.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, and pour in milk mixture. Blend together just until a dough is formed.
- Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls (about 1⁄4 cup) into simmering broth. Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
