Fall-Spiced Pumpkin Butter

Ingredients

  • 6 cups pumpkin purée
  • 2¼ cups maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¾ tsp. ground ginger
  • ½ tsp. ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp. ground cardamom
  • Juice of 3 medium lemons

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a 4-quart slow cooker. Cook mixture on low for about 4 hours, until it becomes thick and smooth.
  • Pour finished pumpkin butter into sterilized pint or half-pint jars, and seal. Store in refrigerator.
