Four-Ingredient Salsa

This is a basic, mild salsa. Most of the heat is in the seeds of the jalapeño, so if you want an even milder salsa, discard the seeds. This is a good recipe to serve with burritos and tacos for a Mexican theme.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups tomatoes, diced
  • ½ cup red onion, diced
  • 2 fresh jalapeño peppers, sliced
  • 2 tsp. kosher salt

Directions

  • Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl. Chill the salsa in the refrigerator for 1 hour to let the flavors marinate.
