Freezer Peach Preserves
Making preserves is an easy family project that will provide sweet delights all the year through. Serve for dessert and again on warm toast with a thick layer of butter.

- 3 cups chopped peaches
- 5 cups sugar
- 5 Tbsp. pectin
- 1 cup water
- Mix peaches with sugar and let stand 30 minutes.
- Mix pectin and water; bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Stir into peach mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon for 2 minutes.
- Put in freezer-safe containers, leaving ½ inch air at the top. Let stand 24 hours to set, and then freeze. Thaw when ready to serve.
