Frosty Cappuccino Supreme

Even people who don’t like strong alcoholic beverages will like this cappuccino dessert. Try it with a variety of flavored liqueurs: Amaretto (almond), Frangelico (hazelnut), Framboise (raspberry), Vandermint (mint), or Baileys (Irish whiskey).

  • 6 oz. semisweet chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp. Kahlúa liqueur
  • 1 Tbsp. orange juice
  • ½ tsp. grated orange zest
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. brandy extract
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream


  • In a saucepan, melt the chocolate in Kahlúa and orange juice over low heat. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
  • Put the orange zest, eggs, egg yolks, brandy flavoring, ricotta, and sugar in a blender. Blend for 2 minutes. Add the cream and blend for 30 seconds. Add the chocolate mixture and blend until smooth. Pour into parfait glasses and freeze for 1 hour before serving.
