Garlic Lovers’ Hummus
The ultimate vegetarian dip and sandwich filling. This version calls for tahini, a smooth sesame butter sold in many supermarkets and natural food stores. If you can’t find it, try substituting low-sodium vegetable broth. For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of garlic.

- 1 can (15 oz.) no-salt-added chickpeas
- 3 Tbsp. sesame tahini
- 3 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- Drain chickpeas and rinse well. Place all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until serving.
