Glazed Pecans

Pecans are rich in minerals such as zinc and heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. Use leftover glazed pecans as a salad topping, snack, or to lend flavor to main dishes.

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecans


  • Melt the butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup, and ground cinnamon. Add the pecans, stirring to coat in the mixture.
  • Increase heat to medium and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the brown sugar. Let the mixture boil for several minutes.
  • Pour the pecan mixture onto a greased baking sheet and cool. Separate the mixture and store in an airtight container or plastic bag. (They will last for about 1 week.)
