Gluten-Free Lemon-Almond Bread

Serve this delicious lemon bread with lemon curd, jam, or even clotted cream. It freezes well too! Perfect for company or yourself with hot tea.

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1⁄2 cup coconut flour
  • 5 large eggs, beaten
  • Grated rind and juice from 1 lemon


  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with butter.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch. Cool on a wire rack.
