Golden Triangle Milk

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup turmeric
  • 2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup light coconut milk

Directions

  • Add the turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and water to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat for 7–10 minutes to create a paste. Add more water if necessary to reach a paste consistency. Let cool.
  • Add the coconut milk to a separate small saucepan. Add 2 teaspoons of the turmeric paste to the pan and heat on medium heat for 3–5 minutes. Stir to dissolve the paste.
  • Remove from heat and drink as a tea or pour over ice for a cool treat. Store remaining paste in a glass container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. (The longer it is stored, the more bitter it may become.)
