Graham Cracker Crust

This crust can be used to form the base of cream pies, cheesecakes, and ice-cream pies. Other cookies can be substituted for the graham cracker crumbs, such as chocolate wafers, vanilla wafers, or gingersnaps.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine crumbs, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add melted butter to crumb mixture; stir with a rubber spatula to combine.
  • Press mixture into a 9" pie pan. Bake for 12 minutes; cool before filling.
