Apples are available year round, but are best September through November. Select firm apples with good color. Skins should be smooth and have no blemishes.

- 4 Granny Smith apples, cored
- 1⁄4 large lemon, rind intact

- Juice apples first. Cut lemon into thin slices and then juice. Stir before serving.
