Green Beans with Pine Nuts

  • 1 lb. green beans, trimmed
  • 1⁄4 cup butter
  • 1⁄3 cup pine nuts
  • 1⁄4 tsp. salt


  • Bring large pot of water to a boil. Add green beans and cook until fork tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pine nuts and salt and sauté for 3 minutes or until pine nuts are lightly browned. Pour over green beans and serve hot.
