Green and Black Olive Tapenade

Mediterranean olive tapenade can be used as a spread or dip for crisp vegetables. If you don’t have a food processor, you can mash the ingredients together with a mortar and pestle or a large fork.

  • 1⁄2 cup pitted green olives
  • 3⁄4 cup pitted black olives
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 Tbsp. capers
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1⁄4 tsp. oregano
  • 1⁄4 tsp. ground black pepper


  • Process all ingredients in a food processor until almost smooth.
