Green Tomato and Jalapeño Salsa

Fresh salsas are best when used the same day as you make it. Serve this as a sauce for grilled meats or as a dip with tortilla chips.

  • 1 large white onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, stems removed and chopped
  • 8 medium green tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, leaves chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper


  • Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
