Grilled Cheese Sandwich

This is the perfect sandwich to dip in tomato soup.

- 2 slices bread
- 1 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 2 slices American cheese
- Heat a griddle or skillet.
- Butter one side of each piece of bread. Put the bread slices butter- side down on the hot griddle. Top each piece of bread with a piece of cheese.
- Combine the two bread slices to make a sandwich, cheese-side in. When the bottom of the sandwich is golden brown, turn it over and cook the other side until golden. Remove from heat and cut into triangles.
