Grilled Sesame-Soy Asparagus

  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds


  • Combine the soy sauce, garlic, and hoisin sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Preheat grill. Toss the asparagus with the sesame oil. Using a grill pan or grill basket, grill the asparagus for 3 minutes on each side.
  • Drizzle the sauce over the asparagus and top with sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
