Use this instead of the traditional tuna confit in the classic Nicoise salad, or try it in fish tacos. It also makes a nice sandwich on sesame seed focaccia with ponzu sauce for dipping.
Hands-on: 5 minutesTotal: 20 minutes
- 4 Ahi tuna steaks
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 cup black bean and tomato salsa
- Brush tuna steaks with oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill on both sides over medium heat for about 7 minutes total.
- Serve with salsa on top.
