Grilled Tuna

Use this instead of the traditional tuna confit in the classic Nicoise salad, or try it in fish tacos. It also makes a nice sandwich on sesame seed focaccia with ponzu sauce for dipping.

  • 4 Ahi tuna steaks
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1⁄4 tsp. salt
  • 1⁄4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 cup black bean and tomato salsa


  • Brush tuna steaks with oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill on both sides over medium heat for about 7 minutes total.
  • Serve with salsa on top.
