Grilled Yam Slices

- 4 large yams (or sweet potatoes)
- ½ cup melted butter
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. orange juice
- Cut yams into slices that are approximately ½" thick. Do not peel. Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil and add yams. Cook until the yams just begin to soften. Cool yams slightly.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and orange juice. Place yams on grill and brush with butter mixture.
- Grill, turning occasionally, until yams become light brown. Baste with butter mixture.
