Homemade Trail Mix

Just mix together sweet and salty ingredients for a healthful and tasty backpack snack. Feel free to substitute coconut flakes or sunflower seeds for the banana chips.

  • 1⁄4 cup salted peanuts
  • 1⁄4 cup cashews
  • 1⁄4 cup corn nuts
  • 1⁄4 cup dehydrated banana chips
  • 1⁄4 cup raisins


  • Combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Pack in a resealable plastic bag or container for easy carrying. If not using immediately, store in an airtight container.
