- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 3⁄4 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, heat and stir together the sugar, corn syrup, and water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Stir the cocoa powder and chocolate chips into the sugar syrup until the chips are completely melted.
- Remove from heat and strain.
