Hot-Hot BBQ Football Wings
These are just what you want with beer or soda when watching an afternoon game.

- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup hot pepper sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 Tbsp. celery salt
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 10 lbs. chicken wings
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Mix in all of the remaining ingredients, except the wings and vegetable oil. Simmer 10 minutes, then remove from heat and keep warm.
- Rinse wings and dry them on paper towels. Brush the wings with vegetable oil on both sides.
- Heat the grill to medium-high. Grill wings until just lightly browned. These are done in just about 3 minutes per side. Transfer wings from grill to sauce. Dip in the sauce then transfer to serving platter. Serve with lots and lots of paper napkins.
