Hot Pot Dip for Beef

Dark soy sauce and sesame seed oil can be purchased in the ethnic cuisine section of many supermarkets or at an Asian grocery store.

  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¾ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup dark soy sauce
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp. hot chili sauce
  • 1 tsp. sesame seed oil


  • Smash, peel, and chop the garlic clove. Combine the chopped garlic, peanut butter, chicken broth, dark soy sauce, sugar, and water in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Stir in the hot chili sauce and sesame seed oil and mix well. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
