- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- 2 Tbsp. apple schnapps
- ½ lb. Cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Soak the walnuts in the liqueur for at least 15 minutes.
- Spread the cheese in a shallow greased baking dish. Sprinkle the liquor-soaked walnuts on top.
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes, until the cheese melts. (This will happen quite quickly.) Remove and serve in a ceramic fondue pot.
