Instant Salt-Free Pasta Sauce
A terrific recipe for times when you run short of sauce. This recipe makes 24 ounces, equivalent to many commercial jars. All you need are canned, no-salt-added tomatoes.

- 1 can (28 oz.) no-salt-added crushed, diced, or whole tomatoes
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 1½ tsp. dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- Combine all the ingredients in food processor and purée. Warm in a saucepan or store sauce in a clean lidded jar and refrigerate.
