Island Grilled Pork Patties
Make sure you don’t overcook the pork—it will get dry and chewy. Top with your favorite salsa or chutney to finish.

- 1 lb. lean ground pork
- 1 Tbsp. lime zest
- 1 tsp. jerk seasoning
- 1⁄2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1⁄2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1⁄4 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
- Lightly mix together all the ingredients and form into 4 patties, each about 4 ounces.
- Spray a medium skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 7 to 9 minutes per side, turning once, until cooked throughout. Transfer to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm. Let rest for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the juices to reabsorb. Serve hot.
