Italian-Style Baby Pork Balls

You can make these for a cocktail party or a snack on game night. They also make a good family meal served with pasta or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup pine nuts
  • 1 lb. lean ground pork

Directions

  • Heat the oil in a large nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Mix all of the rest of the ingredients together and roll into marble-sized balls, about 1" in diameter.
  • Fry the meatballs, turning constantly to brown evenly, about 5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
