Jazzed-Up Chicken Pita

Refrigerating the filling makes for a better-tasting sandwich, as it gives the flavors a chance to blend.

  • 2 Tbsp. honey mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1⁄2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1⁄2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1⁄2 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 1⁄2 cup spinach mix
  • 1⁄4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 pita pocket halves
  • Pinch paprika


  • Mix together the honey mustard, mayonnaise, soy sauce, and sugar. Add the chicken breast, spinach mix, and walnuts and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate in a sealed container for 2 hours before using.
  • Fill each pita half with an equal amount of filling, sprinkle paprika over the top and serve.
