This mellow alcoholic drink is equally good alone or served as a dessert coffee. For a different twist, add a dollop of peppermint ice cream instead of whipped cream.

- 1 1⁄2 oz. Irish whiskey
- 1 oz. Kahlua liqueur
- 1 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1 cup very hot coffee
- 2 Tbsp. whipped cream
- Pour the whiskey into a glass or mug. Mix with the liqueur. Stir in the sugar and add the hot coffee.
- Top with whipped cream and serve immediately.
