Ketchup-Glazed Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1⁄2 cup minced celery
  • 1⁄3 cup minced onion
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1⁄2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 1⁄2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1⁄4 cup whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1⁄4 cup ketchup

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Combine the meat, bread crumbs, celery, onion, rosemary, mustard, salt, and pepper. Beat the egg lightly and add the milk and Worcestershire sauce; add the liquid ingredients to the meat mixture. Combine well.
  • Turn into a lightly greased 8-by-11-inch baking dish, patting into a loaf shape.
  • Bake 45 minutes, then top with ketchup, spreading to cover. Return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
