Kohlrabi with Lemon

Kohlrabi is a very sweet and delicious vegetable. It’s available in the fall and winter. It tastes delicious sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese and run under the broiler.

  • 1 lb. kohlrabi, stems removed, peeled, and shredded
  • 1⁄2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 1⁄2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1⁄2 cup chopped fresh parsley


  • Place the kohlrabi in a saucepan. Add the broth, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve hot.
