Lemon-Apple Smoothie

Summertime and lemonade go hand in hand, but lemonade is loaded with sugar. Start a new tradition of summertime and lemon smoothies, and your kids will be well hydrated with less sugar.

  • 2 large apples, peeled and cored
  • 4 medium lemons, peeled
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped mint
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup ice


  • Combine apple, lemons, honey, mint and 1 cup water in a blender and blend for 30 seconds.
  • Add the remaining 1 cup water and ice and blend until smooth and thoroughly mixed. Serve.
