Lemon Herb Marinade

This zesty, herbaceous marinade works well with steak, chicken and veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • 2 tbsp. Simple Truth Organic™ Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 1⁄2 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1⁄2 tsp. Simple Truth Organic Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 1⁄4 tsp. salt
  • 1⁄4 tsp. Private Selection™ Tellicherry Black Peppercorns Grinder

Directions

  • In medium bowl, mix olive oil, lemon zest and juice, red wine vinegar, worcestershire, garlic and italian seasoning blend. Reserve about 1/2 cup for basting, if you’d like.
  • Pour remaining marinade over steak, chicken or vegetables, either in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Let sit 30 minutes.
  • Strain off marinade and season your meat or veggies with salt and pepper. Now, you’re ready to cook! Discard any marinade leftovers.
