Lentils in the Slow Cooker
Lentils are delicious in salads and soups. You can also use black lentils or French du Puy lentils with this recipe.

- 1 bag (16 oz.) dried green lentils
- 1 quart water
- 2 tsp. salt
- Add lentils and water to a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for about 6–7 hours, or until tender. Stir in the salt for the final 10 to 15 minutes of cooking.
- Once the lentils are fully cooked, drain in a colander.
