Light and Creamy Chive Dressing

You can mix mayonnaise with a fair amount of water without losing the creamy texture. The water makes the dressing go farther and reduces the overall calories.

  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
  • 1½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper


  • Whisk the mayonnaise and water together in a medium mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  • Stir the chives, garlic powder, and pepper into the dressing. Mix well and pour into a lidded container. Store in refrigerator and shake well before each use.
