Light Root Beer Floats

Root beer floats are the essence of summer. You can use low-carb root beer and no-sugar ice cream if you’d like.

  • 4 cups light root beer
  • 2 cups light vanilla ice cream
  • 1⁄2 cup crushed root beer candy


  • Chill six 1-cup mugs. Add 1⁄3 cup of root beer to each mug. Add 1⁄3 cup of the ice cream to each mug and stir gently. Slowly top with remaining root beer.
  • Sprinkle with the crushed candy and serve immediately.
