Lingonberry Sherbet for Adults
Don’t have an ice cream maker? Purée the frozen berry mixture in the blender.

- ¾ cup lingonberries
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- ⅔ cup water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vodka
- Combine the berries, lemon juice, water, and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously, until the mixture has thickened.
- Strain the mixture through a mesh strainer into a bowl. Let cool. Stir the vodka into the berry mixture. Place the mixture in an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s directions. Keep the sherbet frozen until ready to serve.
