Linguine with Ham

Not only is this meal delicious, it is a very inexpensive dish to make. You can use it as either a main dish or as a side dish.

  • 1 box (1 lb.) linguine
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1⁄2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1⁄3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas


  • Boil pasta according to the package directions. Drain.
  • In skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and ham for 5 to 6 minutes. Add cream and pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese and peas. Toss sauce and pasta together and serve.
