Low-Carb Snack Mix

A combination of different types of nuts is what makes this savory snack so appealing. Feel free to change the types of nuts used and the ratios to suit your tastes.

  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 cups whole almonds
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 2 cups whole cashews
  • 2 cups whole dry-roasted peanuts
  • ½ tsp. sea salt


  • Add butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and nuts to a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker. Stir to coat the nuts evenly. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Uncover and continue to cook on low for 1 more hour to dry the nuts and seeds, stirring occasionally, then evenly spread them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Sprinkle with salt and cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the pantry for up to 2 weeks.
