Make-Ahead Freezer Cucumber Dipping Sauce

This sauce is wonderful served with kabobs, or a variety of cut-up vegetables such as red and green bell peppers, carrots, and celery.

  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh dill


  • Peel, seed, and shred the cucumber. In mixing bowl, mix cucumber, yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Freeze in freezer bag or plastic container.
  • Stir garlic and dill into defrosted sauce, and serve chilled.
