Mango-Cilantro Chutney

This fruity, cool chutney is a nice accompaniment to spicy dishes. To peel a ripe mango, you can slide a spoon, bottom side up, under the skin to remove it easily, without damaging the fruit.

  • 3 medium mangoes
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 1⁄2 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1⁄2 tsp. freshly grated lime zest
  • 1⁄8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper


  • Peel and dice the mangoes and onion. Chop the cilantro. Mix together all the ingredients in a medium bowl.
