Maple-Mashed Sweet Potatoes
You can reduce the amount of sugar in this very easy recipe by using a no-sugar-added syrup.

- 4 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ tsp. salt
- ⅓ cup chopped pecans, toasted
- Add sweet potatoes, butter, maple syrup, and salt to a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 4–5 hours.
- Mash potatoes and serve with chopped pecans.
