Maple Mocha Frappe

A creamy concoction of coffee, cocoa, and milk, sweetened with a touch of maple syrup, this smoothie is perfect for breakfast or as an anytime pick-me-up. The stronger the coffee, the more flavor it lends to the drink.

  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1⁄2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1⁄2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 cup low-fat yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup


  • Place the banana in a blender or food processor and purée. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse until smooth and creamy.
  • Serve immediately.
