The most famous tequila drink there is! It is simple and just right in hot climates. You may serve it frozen, up, or on the rocks, with or without salt, but always use fresh lime juice if possible.

- 2 lime wedges
- 1½ tsp. kosher salt
- 1 oz. tequila
- ½ oz. triple sec
- 1½ oz. lime juice
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of a stem glass, then dip the rim in kosher salt. Squeeze the same lime wedge into the glass.
- Fill a cocktail shaker ¼ full with ice.
- Add the tequila, triple sec, and lime juice to the shaker and shake.
- Strain into the glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
