Maria’s Guacamole

Plan to make this soon before you eat it, as avocados tend to discolor quickly unless tightly wrapped and chilled with their pits.

  • 2 large ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 1 small white onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 tomato, unpeeled and diced
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • ½ tsp. salt


  • Gently combine all the ingredients in a serving bowl. Serve at room temperature.
