Marinade for Beef or Pork

This marinade would go nicely with up to two pounds of steak that is going to be grilled or broiled. Marinate the steak for at least 4 hours. The recipe is very adaptable, and can easily be doubled if you’re planning to barbecue for a crowd.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. liquid honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. whole peppercorns

Directions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, red wine vinegar, and vegetable oil. Whisk in the remaining ingredients.
